Joel Andrew Gordon

Joel A. Gordon, a graduate from the Texas Tech University School of Law, has been practicing law in Houston, Texas, since November 1993.  Although Joel A. Gordon & Associates has helped many clients in multiple areas of the law, the focus of the practice is assisting injured clients and their families with personal injury and wrongful death claims. 

Joel A. Gordon is admitted to practice law before all Texas state courts, and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas.  Mr. Gordon is a member of the State Bar of Texas, and a past member of the American Bar Association, the Texas Trial Lawyers Association, and the Houston Bar Association.

John L. Shumaker Jr.

John L. Shumaker Jr. obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin in 1988 and his law degree from Texas Tech University in 1993. Mr. Shumaker began his legal career in Colorado working the public sector as a state assistant district attorney. As an assistant D.A., Mr. Shumaker gained valuable trial experience prosecuting both misdemeanor and felony cases. In 1998 Mr. Shumaker decided to bring his trial experience and knowledge back to Texas to benefit Texas residents. Mr. Shumaker has experience and knowledge in the legal fields of personal injury, probate, and family law.

John L. Shumaker is admitted to practice law before all Colorado and Texas state courts, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas and the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Shumaker is a member of the State Bar of Texas, and Dallas Bar Association.
